Kate Middleton channels Queen Elizabeth II during her Pakistan tour by making a particular move.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are already halfway through their royal tour in Pakistan. The royal couple ended their third day by visiting the colorful Kalash village in Chitral.

Middleton was spotted carrying one of her favorite items that reflects her passion in photography, a camera. According to Hello! Magazine, by doing so, Middleton was channeling the Queen.

Queen Elizabeth II was regularly spotted with her camera during royal tours. Her Majesty was even photographed taking photos while making her official visits in various countries.

Middleton is a self-confessed amateur photographer. She has been showcasing her talent in photography by taking her children’s photos on their birthdays.

In 2012, St. James’s Palace published seven of Middleton’s snaps taken during her and Prince William’s Far East tour which included a striking black and white silhouette of the endangered Borneo Orangutan.

Just like Middleton, Prince Harry also loves taking pictures. The Duke of Sussex released eight nature shots he personally took to commemorate Earth Day this year. Those who saw the pictures found them “lovely” and “magnificent.” However, Middleton appears to have better photography skills.

According to Jonathan Jones, Prince Harry’s nature photographs, especially the monochrome portrait of a rhino resting its head on a fallen tree, are quite “eloquent.” However, he felt that the royal’s “aesthetic ambitions are too obvious.” He added that Prince Harry was “play-acting” at being a photographer while Middleton showed that family snapshots can be little works of arts.

London-based award-winning photographer Bronwen Sharpe also praised Middleton’s photography skills. According to her, the duchess’ photos of her kids feature “real warmth and love.”

Sharpe added that Middleton has the “natural ability to capture humanity with a great eye for composition and color.” She went on to say that the Duchess of Cambridge’s talent has improved since her first photos of Prince George and Princess Charlotte.
