Prince William made a joke about his wife Kate Middleton’s outfit in their recent engagement.

On Wednesday, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge arrived in Cyprus. While they were there, Prince William made fun of Middleton’s outfit when he noticed that her ensemble matched the decor.

“My wife’s camouflaged against the tree,” he told the photographers, according to Harper’s Bazaar.

Prior to that, the duke reportedly offered to step out of frame, so Middleton could be photographed by herself. “Do you want me to move out of the photo?” Prince William added.

Middleton’s outfit was perfectly professional for the said outing. The Duchess of Cambridge sported an olive green Smythe blazer and dark wide leg pants. She paired her outfit with a clutch by L.K. Bennett, matching pumps and a delicate diamond hoop earrings by Asprey.

The couple was very relaxed in Cyprus. At one point, Prince William reportedly reminded the servicemen to "keep the pizza off the sofas!" Middleton was then quoted to have said, "You’re a nightmare with that."

On the same outing, Prince William shared a tidbit on their 5-year-old son Prince George. According to the Duke of Cambridge, he told his eldest son that they were going to see the pilots on that day, and he told his dad to take a picture of them.

Meanwhile, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge hosted a Christmas party for Royal Air Force families on Tuesday. At the event, Middleton delivered a heartfelt speech on how hard it feels to be away from those who are serving in the military.

“As someone whose husband has served, I know how hard it feels when a loved one leaves home to do the job they’ve trained for. When William served in the Falklands or went search and rescue, I remember how it felt,” Middleton said.

“But I can’t imagine how it feels when your loved ones are away on active service over Christmas or at those special family moments,” Middleton continued. “The absence of people you love must be especially hard at this time of year. We should never forget our military families and all the service you do for us all.”

In the evening, Middleton and Prince William attended the Queen’s Diplomatic Corps Reception at Buckingham Palace. Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, who are rumored to be having a feud with the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, skipped the event. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex attended a charity event for Henry van Straubenzee Memorial Fund, instead.
