Kate Middleton’s slender frame has been the topic of discussion among royal fans. Some of them are speculating on the possibility of the Duchess of Cambridge suffering from an eating disorder.

For most of her life, Prince William’s wife has always been thin. In fact, her mom and sister were also blessed with the same genes. But after giving birth to her three children, Middleton has seemingly lost more weight compared to when she first joined the royal family. As such, the public couldn’t help but wonder if something is wrong with her.

On the online forum site Quora, majority of the respondents said that it is unlikely for Middleton to suffer from anorexia and bulimia. Even though she looks thin, the mom of three is actually very healthy.

Sharon Ann Cummins-Royes, a librarian, said that even if the future Queen suffers from an eating disorder, it is unlikely that the public will know about it.

“If she is suffering from some kind of eating disorder, one thing is for sure, no one apart from her husband Prince William will ever know it. The woman is the epitome of what will be expected as a future Queen Consort. The Duchess will take a page out of Her Majesty’s playbook and despite all the speculation, rumor and innuendo no one will ever know anything about her life inside the Palace walls,” she said.

Bayley Connaught, a former charity worker, echoed Cummins-Royes’ sentiments. She said that Middleton’s eating disorder will be kept from the public in the same way that no one knew that Princess Diana was suffering from anorexia.

“Diana was never gaunt, she looked healthy and slim, but not too much. We were not aware all the time she had an eating disorder until she revealed it. One thing’s for sure, Catherine drastically slimmed down for her wedding and has maintained it since. Lots of pressure being in the limelight all the time,” she said.
