Kate Middleton Goes Christmas Shopping In London, Buys Tights For Princess Charlotte

Kate Middleton was recently spotted doing her last-minute Christmas shopping at London’s Sloane Square by herself.

An onlooker revealed that she saw the Duchess of Cambridge checking out the tights section. Before leaving Peter Jones, Middleton was seen holding a pair of black tights, which could be for Princess Charlotte.

While speaking with The Sun, the onlooker said that she was surprised at Middleton at the store and thought that it was just her lookalike. But upon closer inspection, she was certain that it was Prince William’s wife.

“Other people were whispering as they passed Kate, so I had to get a photo. I've never been so close to a Royal before. I just couldn’t believe she was there! It looked like she was buying children's tights for Charlotte, a bit like me finishing off my own Christmas shopping!” the onlooker said.

Two months ago, Middleton was also spotted doing last-minute shopping before Halloween at Sainsbury's in the Hardwick Industrial Estate, Norfolk. But at that time, Middleton was joined by Prince George and Princess Charlotte.

While speaking with Mirror, onlooker Kathy Whitaker revealed that Middleton was buying Halloween costumes for her children. The Cambridges were also accompanied by their bodyguards, who were instructing other onlookers not to take photos of the royals.

"It was so lovely to see her doing normal stuff that you and I do. It was so lovely to see her; she is always beautiful. You don't expect to see that when you go shopping. I couldn't concentrate on my shopping,” the royal fans said.

Meanwhile, the Duchess of Cambridge also made headlines this week after royal biographer Claudia Joseph told Vanity Fair that the mom of three is much better in her boots and jeans than her pretty frocks.

Joseph also said that when Middleton is doing something close to her heart, she can be herself and doesn’t have to hide or be on her guard.
