Kate Middleton has been training for her favorite sport like her children Prince George and Princess Charlotte.

The Duchess of Cambridge is a self-confessed tennis fan. According to a source, Middleton has been working on her game by taking lessons at the exclusive Hurlingham Club in Fulham.

“She’s really very good,” a regular at the club told Daily Mail. “She comes down and trains with her tennis coach with her security looming in the background. Sometimes they fetch her stray balls.”

Middleton’s children, Prince George and Princess Charlotte, are also taking tennis lessons. A royal insider told Hello! that the royal mom of three made frequent trips to the private member’s club over the summer with her kids.

In 2017, Middleton arrived at the Lawn Tennis Association and joined the Tennis for Kids session. She sported a black Monreal track pants, black Clarice track jacket and white Nike Air VaporMax trainers.

Tennis pro Joanna Konta praised the duchess by saying that Middleton was “lovely.” She added that Middleton’s passion for tennis was very visible. The future queen was there to learn about the great programs run by the LTA and the kids were very excited to meet the royal mom.

In 2013, Middleton shared that she was banned from attending Wimbledon Finals. Prince William’s wife was heavily pregnant with Prince George at the time and was desperate to witness Andy Murray’s match against Novac Djokovic. She even begged her doctor, but her request was turned down.

According to Middleton, she wrote a letter to Murray apologizing for missing the event. Middleton is a big tennis fan that even before she married Prince William she spent hours lining up to get a ticket for Wimbledon. For her, being part of the tournament is an amazing experience and she considers it very special.

Due to Middleton’s fondness for the sport, she had a tennis court built at her Anmer Hall home. She confessed that she was inspired by the Wimbledon tournament but was not considering a career in tennis because she doesn’t get “the same results“ as the professional athletes.
