  • Kate Middleton and Prince William spark marital drama
  • Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's PDA

Kate Middleton subtly touched Prince William in a sweet public display of affection.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge rarely show affection in public unlike the Duke and Duchess of Sussex. Prince Harry and Meghan Markle don’t mind holding hands and embracing each other even if they are attending official engagements that’s why when Prince William and Middleton do the same, it doesn’t go unnoticed.

Last year, the couple attended a Christmas feast together. A clip from the event has resurfaced on Twitter showing the couple walking away from the camera. Middleton is caught putting a hand on her husband’s back as they left.

“It’s beautiful..... what a love story,” one commented.

Just recently, Prince William and Middleton spark drama when they arrived at the Queen’s annual Christmas lunch separately. Prince William arrived with Prince George. Meanwhile, Middleton was in a separate vehicle with Prince Louis and Princess Charlotte.

Also, when the couple’s special “A Berry Royal Christmas” aired, many noticed how Middleton shrugged her husband’s hand on her shoulder. Some royal fans immediately made a fuss about the scene.

However, a royal source denied the marital issues about the royal couple. Middleton reportedly did it because she wanted them to appear professional especially that they were filming.

“The couple, unlike Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, do make a point to keep the PDA to a minimum in public events because they are the future King and Queen,” the source told Entertainment Tonight.

“Aside from William opening a door or gently guiding Kate with a hand on the back you never see them holding hands at engagements. Very, very rarely you might see Kate putting her hand on William's knee or a fun hug after competing against each other sailing or rowing while laughing.”

Also, even if the couple arrived separately at the Queen’s Christmas lunch, they were spotted leaving the event together. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge as well as their kids are expected to be in Sandringham to join the Queen and the other members of the royal family for Christmas.
