Kate Middleton Made These Changes To Friends, Fashion After Dating Prince William

Kate Middleton made some changes like Meghan Markle when she started dating Prince William.

Joining the royal family comes with a price. The Duchess of Sussex had to give up her flourishing career to be with Prince Harry. She also reportedly cut ties with her friends. It turned out that Middleton experienced the same pressure and she also made a number of adjustments on her end to fit the royal standard.

First, Middleton made a huge change in her fashion. Just like most women in her age, Middleton loved to wear shorts, sleeveless and skinny jeans. However, she ditched those outfits when she became a royal since she has to dress appropriately as what is expected from her as the future queen of England.

“The hemlines got longer and the necklines got higher lol. But she's still. Beautiful person. No matter what she wears,” one netizen commented on how Middleton’s fashion changed through the years.

According to etiquette expert William Hanson, Middleton has become “more regal over the years” since she married Prince William and joined the royal family. He believes that Middleton’s positive changes was because the duchess is more willing to listen and learn from others for her own benefit.

Aside from changing her fashion, at some point Middleton changed her connections with her pals. The duchess reportedly upset her friends when she was still dating Prince William because she did not make an effort to see them.

Middleton reportedly disappeared down the royal rabbit hole into the Windsor wonderland and left her friends in the cold. So when it was reported in 2007 that she and Prince William broke up, her pals were happy. But the royal couple’s split was temporary, they eventually got back together and got married.

But prior to their royal wedding, when Middleton felt that Prince William’s proposal was imminent, she reportedly sent an email to her friends requesting them to drop the informal “Kate” and call her “Catherine.” Middleton’s letter sounded “very jokey” despite the awkward nature of the request but her friends were still taken aback, Express reported.
