Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle’s tricks to look good in every photo have been revealed.

The Duchess of Cambridge and Duchess of Sussex are among the most photographed women today. Many are following their fashion choices and in most, if not all, of their photos they just look perfect.

Middleton has perfected her photogenic royal wave. Meanwhile, the former “Suits” star has established a connection with the people, but she never overly smiles.

Portrait photographer Rachell Smith explained why Middleton and Markle look photogenic in their shots. For Middleton, she said that the future Queen has developed a technique for her photographic royal wave.

“Her arm is the perfect height and elbow slightly bends and her hand is in an upright ‘hi’ gesture,” she said of Middleton.

Smith said that Middleton’s movements suggest that she is friendly and approachable. This works well with photographers and for the duchess because it keeps her clothes in the perfect shape.

“Notice how natural she makes it look, her shoulders are relaxed and her hand is level with the middle of her face, this is a great insider tip and Catherine always ensures her hand is not too high or low,” Smith explained.

Meanwhile, for Markle there is one gesture that she observed, the Duchess of Sussex avoids a ghoulish grin. In this way, Markle always looks good whenever she smiles at the cameras.

“To appear more photogenic Meghan never overly smiles. It’s a simple lift of the face with a happy thought,” Smith said.

Markle also knows when to smile. According to Smith, the duchess’ smiles are mostly reaction from her surroundings. She also moves naturally to create shape in her neck area. Markle doesn’t bend or twist her body much and she keeps her neck long.

She also pointed out how Markle maintains a good posture which is natural to her body shape. Her shoulders and arms are straight and her chin is level to the camera for the perfect balance.

Just recently, royal photographer Tim Rooke shared his three favorite photos of the royal family this year. Among the shots he selected were Middleton and Prince William lovingly gazing at each other’s eyes while visiting a mosque in Pakistan, Markle’s arrival at the University of Johannesburg during her solo trip in South Africa and Queen Elizabeth II smiling at London Science Museum.
