A source told Radar Online that the Duchess of Sussex is fuming after the Duchess of Cambridge purposely left her “totally left out” for the latter’s plans for the New Year. Middleton is reportedly planning a get-together but did not invite Prince Harry and Markle. Among Middleton’s guests are Princess Beatrice, Princess Eugenie, as well as Mike and Zara Tindall.

“Kate’s standing in the palace has never been so high, so she feels no obligation to make nice with Meghan and Harry,” the insider said.

“Kate’s decided she needs to be cruel to be kind and it’s time her sister-in-law learned a harsh lesson. Needless to say, it hasn’t been well received at all.”

However, one should take the report with a grain of salt because Prince Harry and Markle are in Canada. If it’s true that Middleton is hosting a party for New Year, the Sussexes have to skip it even if Middleton wants them there because they are not together.

According to The Mirror, Prince Harry and Markle will be spending New Year’s Eve in a $13.14 million waterfront mansion with their son Archie. They will also be joined by Markle’s mom Doria Ragland.

Markle’s home for the holidays include a pizza oven in a kitchen, a gaming room, two-story living room, and a wine-tasting room. A source said that the property where the royals are staying is “incredible.” In fact, it is one of the most prestigious estates in the area and “it’s certainly fit for royalty.”

Meanwhile, some royal followers criticized Prince Harry and Markle’s long break. Sky News reported that the couple will be spending a six-week Christmas vacation in Canada when they just enjoyed several weeks of downtime in California.

One netizen on Twitter said that Prince Harry and Markle were “exhausted from all their other holidays.” Another wrote, “Don’t come back.”

Royal expert Eliot Wilson already warned the couple about their vacation. According to him, Prince Harry and Markle are expected to attend to their royal duties. Also, their jobs aren’t as demanding as nurses, policemen and firefighters who don’t enjoy the same long breaks.
