Kate Middleton, Meghan Markle Didn't Snub Britney Spears, Report Says

Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle didn't ignore Britney Spears despite reports claiming otherwise.

Gossip Cop recently debunked claims that the Duchess of Cambridge and Duchess of Sussex snubbed the "Toxic" singer. Stories claiming that the royals ignored the "Womanizer" performer are apparently not true.

Star published a story with the headline that read: "Britney Spears Snubbed By Harry and Meghan." According to the tabloid, Spears "brought her 'Piece of Me' tour to the U.K. recently, she was sure that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle wanted just that."

"Britney had her assistant write notes to Buckingham and Kensington palaces requesting audiences with the newlyweds and Queen Elizabeth," a so-called insider added.

Unfortunately, the singer was reportedly "shocked to receive a letter back from both palaces — not from the royals themselves — saying everyone was too busy to meet her." The unnamed sourced added that the singer "thought everyone wanted to meet her."

The outlet also alleged that Spears "hoped (in vain) that Prince William and Duchess Kate would cut their Mystique vacation [sic] to meet her." The "Ooops...I Did It Again" singer was disappointed because none of the royals welcomed her.

As per Gossip Cop, the narrative was concocted. First, it mentioned "Mystique" instead of "Mustique" where the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge took a break with their kids and Middleton's parents. Second, it's possible that the stories were created following Spears' posts on Instagram about her visit to London with her sons.

"Throwback to exploring London with the boys! Can't wait to be back for #PieceOfMe next week! #TBT," she wrote.

In related news, Paul Burrell said that Markle has something that Princess Diana never had. The late Princess of Wales' former butler exclaimed that the Duchess of Sussex has "a man that stood beside her who truly adores her."

In Princess Diana's past interview, she admitted that Prince Philip advised Prince Charles to get back with Camilla Parker Bowles if their marriage doesn't work in five years. Prince William and Prince Harry's mom admitted that she had a hint about it and only confirmed it after their split.

Princess Diana once said that her marriage with Prince Charles was difficult because "there were three of us." Prince Charles admitted his affair with Camilla. Princess Diana also said that she confronted the Duchess of Cornwall about her relationship with her husband.
