Kate Middleton, Meghan Markle No Longer Feuding Amid Claims Duchesses Talk, Text Daily
Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle have been rumored to be feuding with each other for months. But it seems that they have put all of their issues behind them recently.
While speaking with Hello! magazine, royal expert Carolyn Durand said that Middleton and Markle appear to have patched things up because they have been talking and texting each other on a daily basis. In fact, the Duchesses communication takes place privately and no via the Royal Family’s WhatsApp account.
“Kate was a great source of support to Meghan in the days leading up to Archie’s birth and despite reports of a rift, they are family and have a really lovely friendship. Their relationship has constantly evolved over time and they have become closer since Meghan’s wedding,” she said.
Ever since Markle joined the royal family last year, Middleton has reportedly been doing everything that she can to make the “Suits” alum feel welcome. Durand’s statement is the exact opposite of all of the claims suggesting that Middleton and Markle are at odds with each other.
Last year, royal expert Camilla Tominey claimed that Markle even made Middleton cry at Princess Charlotte’s bridesmaid dress fitting. And during the two Duchesses first meeting, Markle reportedly gifted Middleton with a leather journal. However, the gesture was criticized by Josh Duboff and Julie Miller on the “In the Limelight” podcast.
The duo said that it seems Markle’s gift for Middleton was actually intended for her because she’s the one who loves to write. Royal correspondent Polly Hudson added that Markle’s present only seemed like a gift but it was actually for work.
“The only way the gift could be duller is if she had to document other people’s dreams because there’s nothing on Earth more boring than them,” he said.
And royal commentator Martha Ross said, “Markle seems to assume that Middleton cares about wanting a better understanding of her emotions, stresses, victories, and mental well-being.”
