Kate Middleton, Meghan Markle’s Rift Reportedly Made Pregnant Duchess Feel ‘Isolated,’ Unsafe
Meghan Markle reportedly felt isolated due to the negative comments written about her after rumors of her feud with Kate Middleton surfaced.
The Duchess of Sussex is expecting her first baby in a few months. However, she is struggling to adapt the royal life. There are reports claiming that she’s difficult to work with, and this only intensified after four of her staff members resigned. There were also speculations that she made her sister-in-law, Kate Middleton, cry.
According to Emily Andrews, a royal correspondent of The Sun, Markle reportedly has a fake Instagram account that she uses to follow her friends. However, the duchess apparently decided to shut it down to maintain her mental health.
There were some vile stuff written about her by social media trolls online, and Markle saw it. Some of it covers her rumored feud with Middleton, and this apparently made her feel “isolated and alone.”
An insider said that Markle doesn’t feel safe when she’s on her own and without her protection officer. Markle was reportedly paranoid about being physically attacked.
Markle and Middleton were rumored to be involved in a feud for months. According to an insider, the two duchesses’ ghastly row began in December 2017 when the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge invited the Duke and Duchess of Sussex over for Christmas.
Markle was reportedly “downright rude” during the gathering. She reportedly also didn’t like what Middleton told her and complained to Prince Harry that she was being “told off.” The Duke of Sussex sided his wife. On the other hand, Prince William defended Middleton who was pregnant with Prince Louis at that time.
There were also rumors that Markle made Middleton cry during Princess Charlotte’s dress fitting for her royal wedding to Prince Harry. The palace denied the reports, but some insiders continued to insist that they were all true.
Markle’s father, Thomas Markle Sr., didn’t believe the reports that she made Middleton cry. According to him, Middleton is a strong woman. However, he still encouraged them to end their rift.
Things seemed to have settled down though as Middleton and Markle stepped out together on Christmas day to join the royals’ traditional morning service. The two duchesses appeared friendly and happy. They were all smiles as they chatted and walked side by side on their way to the church.
However, body language expert Judi James said that the Middleton and Markle were only putting up a united front for the cameras.
