Kate Middleton is more interesting than Meghan Markle, according to a body language expert.

In a new video on his YouTube channel, Jesús Enrique Rosas, the self-proclaimed "Body Language Guy" and author of "Body Language in 40 Days," cited a new poll that claims Middleton is "more than twice as popular in the U.S." as her sister-in-law.

Rosas shared his own speculation on why the Duchess of Cambridge "leads in popularity," suggesting that Middleton has nurtured an "aura of mystery" around herself, unlike Markle.

The body language expert pointed out that Middleton's most striking or memorable moments usually do not involve her speaking, while the opposite is true for Markle. He highlighted Middleton's gold dress at the "No Time to Die" premiere that went viral last year and her appearance at the Earthshot Prize ceremony in October 2021 as examples of these moments.

However, Rosas claimed that it's much easier to remember all the times Markle has spoken publicly. The body language expert noted that "it doesn't help" that what Markle has said often "worked in the exact opposite of what she intended."

"Mystery is something that every single person should be able to handle in a healthy way. You should never reveal everything about you in one sitting because you'll instantly become boring," he explained. "Mystery is showing people just enough of you so they keep guessing the rest and surprising them from time to time with a new angle that they just weren't aware of."

Rosas said this was the reason why Middleton's piano performance during the "Royal Carols: Together at Christmas" carol concert last month had the impact that it did.

He added that being interesting or having a magnetic or charismatic personality starts with the ability to maintain an aura of mystery around one's self. He noted that the greatest conversationalists are the ones that talk less because instead of talking about themselves, they are masters at making the conversation be about the other person.

Rosas also suggested that Middleton is more popular than Markle because the former keeps her personal life private despite having a public role.

"The more you expose about your personal life, the less interesting you'll be for other people," the body language expert claimed, adding that Markle's complaints about her personal struggles turn her into a "boring person."

According to the latest YouGov survey on members of the royal family, positive opinion on Middleton in the U.K. is at 65%, while only 26% have a favorable view of Markle.

Prince Harry is slightly more popular than his wife, the survey suggested. The Duke of Sussex's favorability is at 39%, while 54% have an unfavorable view of him.
