Kate Middleton Pregnancy: Duchess Won’t Hire New Nanny, Will Use Hand-Me-Downs
Kate Middleton will soon give birth to her third child, and a source recently shared some news about her pregnancy, as well as her plans on how to raise her baby.
A source told US Weekly that Middleton and Prince William’s new nursery is filled with hand-me-downs from Prince George and Princess Charlotte – at least in terms of toys. As of late, the gender of Middleton and Prince William’s baby has not yet been revealed. And the ages of the siblings are pretty close to each other. This suggests that Prince George’s and Princess Charlotte’s toys are still in tip-top shape.
Other than their decision to use hand-me-downs for their third child, Middleton and Prince William have also agreed to not hire a nanny. The source said, “They didn’t feel the need for an additional nanny. They feel they can handle everything with the same arrangement as before.”
Prince George and Princess Charlotte are now both in school so there are a few hours every day that they are not in the house. During this time, Middleton can take care of her baby. The Duchess of Cambridge is also expected to go on maternity leave after giving birth. Years ago, she went on a four-month leave after giving birth to Princess Charlotte.
Meanwhile, there is also no truth to the rumors claiming that Middleton will give birth at home. According to US Weekly, after she found out that she was pregnant, she already booked an ultra-exclusive suite at the Lindo Wing of London’s St. Mary’s Hospital. This is also where she gave birth to her two older kids.
Alan Farthing, Middleton’s Ob-Gyn, was supposed to file for retirement last year, but the 54-year-old decided to postpone it so he could give birth to Middleton’s third child.
Middleton is expected to give birth in April, but it is also possible for her third child to share the same birthday with Princess Charlotte on May 2.
