She was spotted drinking beer over St. Patrick’s Day weekend, which may help put to rest theories that Kate Middleton is currently pregnant with baby number four. However, there’s still a good chance the Duchess of Cambridge will still be rumored as expecting for some time.

Rumors have been in overdrive that Middleton is pregnant with her fourth child, or would be announcing a fourth pregnancy this year, following a visit to Ireland in February where she commented to well-wishers and joked that Prince William might be “slightly worried” if she was expecting. Since then, there has been endless speculation about whether or not she was pregnant. Of course, this isn’t the first time that she has been at the center of baby fever rumors.

In the 2012 documentary “William and Kate: The First Year,” it was recalled that during a visit to a Unicef aid center in Denmark, something Kate Middleton opted not to eat caused a fever pitch in speculation that she was pregnant. When a peanut paste made for malnourished children was presented to the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge for them to try, Middleton passed it on instead to the Danish royals and didn't try any.

Royal expert Katie Nicholl commented at the time that the maneuver sent people into a frenzy as they speculated she was expecting.

“That sent the rumor mill into overdrive that she was pregnant as pregnant women are advised not to eat peanuts.”

It soon became clear that anything Middleton did would lead to more spin that she was expecting a child—from whether she opted not to consume alcohol at an event to what she opted to wear.

The visit, which was in 2011, wasn’t when Middleton was pregnant as it turned out, though it didn’t turn down the fervor. As a result, speculation about her this time also likely won’t die down, despite her being spotted drinking beer.

Of course, it is worth noting that Middleton has been active and present for all of her engagements in recent months, which means she likely isn’t pregnant. During her other pregnancies with Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis, she was forced to cancel some of her engagements due to bouts of hyperemesis gravidarum.
