Royal fans seem to love a good pregnancy, and there’s no reason to believe that another royal baby could be introduced at some point in the future. However, fans seem to also be wondering just which member of the royal family might be the one welcoming that bundle of joy—Kate Middleton or Meghan Markle.

Royal fans have been speculating for a while that the Duchess of Cambridge, who is already a mother of three, could have a fourth baby within the next year, but following the Christening of the Duchess of Sussex’s first child, Archie Harrison, speculation has already begun on whether or not she and Prince Harry would have a second child as well. In fact, royal expert Katie Nicholl has already revealed that the chances Markle could get pregnant again and have a baby next year seem highly likely, as the couple are loving parenthood and looking forward to giving Archie a sibling.

“Sources close to the couple told me that they really would love to have a big family,” she said. “They absolutely want siblings for Archie, so possibly we will have a pregnancy announcement for Meghan and Harry sometime next year. But for the moment, the focus is obviously on Archie.”

Bookmakers have also spoken out about the odds Markle will have another baby, slashing the odds of an announcement before the end of 2019 to 8/1, while odds are 2/1 for an announcement in 2021.

“It’s almost certain that Meghan and Harry will add to their blossoming family in the next few years and we think a second pregnancy is most likely to come next year,” Harry Aitkenhead of bookmaker Coral said. “It’s 8-1 for Meghan to announce she is expecting again by the end of the year and whilst the odds may be long you can’t rule it out.”

However, it’s tough to rule out Middleton having a fourth child as well. While she is already a mother of three, there have been countless reports over the years stating that she would like to have a fourth child as well.

Not only was it previously reported that odds are 7/2 of the Duchess and Prince William announcing another pregnancy, but she reportedly does want a fourth child, especially if it allows her to give her youngest, Prince Louis, a sibling who is close to him in age.

“Kate has seen the bond between George and Charlotte and thinks it would be lovely if Louis had a sister closer to his age,” a source said at the time.
