Kate Middleton, Prince William Made Similar Awkward Mistake As Meghan, Harry
Kate Middleton and Prince William just made the same mistake Meghan Markle and Prince Harry did.
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have millions of followers on social media. At present, the royal couple is in Pakistan for an official tour and photos of them have been shared on Instagram.
In their post, the royal couple discuss their first official engagement which included a visit to Islamabad Model College for Girls. During their visit, the future king and queen learned how the students are benefiting from the “Teach for Pakistan” program.
“There, they joined children from four local schools for activities taking part in activities designed to educate young people on environmental protection and wildlife conservation,” their caption read.
Royal fans immediately noticed that the royal couple made a glaring typo mistake when they repeated the words “activities,” New Idea first reported.
This isn’t the first time a member of the royal family made a typo error on Instagram. Just recently, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex committed the same mistake.
In one post, Markle shared a quote from Maya Angelou, an American poet and civil rights activist, which read, “Each time a women stands up for herself without knowing it possibly, without claiming it, she stands up for all women.”
Markle’s post was met with huge support and garnered over 150,000 likes. However, many netizens noted the typo in the famous quote as the first “women” was spelled woman in the original quote from Angelou.
“Woman is singular, women is plural, please fix first sentence, embarrassing!” one netizen commented.
Another online user slammed the royals for the glaring mistake. “Each time a ‘women’ stands up? Come on, you’re royalty. Please proofread,” a different online user wrote.
Prince Harry and Markle have since issued a correction and apology for their mistake. The couple said that they post inspiring words and encourag their followers to enjoy, remember and share them. They then posted the quote again with the correct spelling and thanked those who flagged them for the typo, E! News has learned.
