Kate Middleton, Prince William’s Relationship Had ‘A Big Change’ Since Meghan, Harry’s Leave
Prince William and Kate Middleton recently set out on a royal train tour to thank key workers and organizations for their response to the coronavirus pandemic. However, their trip has caught the attention of a royal biographer for a different reason.
Angela Levin told talkRADIO she has noticed a major "change" in the couple’s relationship. She said the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge appear to be “more relaxed” now that Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are no longer working members of the royal family, reports The Daily Mail.
When Kate and William visited the “Toast Your Own Marshmallow” stall at Cardiff Castle on Tuesday, the commentator spotted a difference in the couple’s dynamic.
“When you see that with Kate and William...when we saw them this morning, they were laughing,” she explained.
“Kate was moving to the music and they’re very, very easy with each other. I think there’s been a big change since Harry and Meghan have gone that they feel more relaxed. Maybe not under attack, and they feel very much like a team, you can feel that.”
Meanwhile, a source previously told Us Weekly that Harry and Meghan’s relationship has become stronger following an “absolutely devastating” miscarriage.
“They still struggle to even think about it but have supported each other through the agony. In many ways, the loss has brought them closer together and made them stronger,” the insider explained.
Last month, Meghan discussed her miscarriage in an op-ed for The New York Times. “After changing [my son Archie’s] diaper, I felt a sharp cramp,” the 39-year-old wrote.
“I dropped to the floor with him in my arms, humming a lullaby to keep us both calm, the cheerful tune a stark contrast to my sense that something was not right. I knew, as I clutched my firstborn child, that I was losing my second.”
After leaving their senior positions within the British royal family, Meghan, Harry, and their 1-year-old son Archie relocated to California.
