Prince William isn’t Dad, Father or Daddy to Prince George and Princess Charlotte, but is instead, “Pops.”

Kate Middleton revealed her kids’ nickname for her husband during a visit to Leicester on Wednesday. When asked about her children by a fan, the Duchess of Cambridge responded, “They are great, thank you,” according to People.

She later shared Prince Williams’ nickname in a story about the night before.

Fiona Sturgess told reporters, according to the outlet, “Kate said that William was playing football with the children last night and one of them said, I think it was George, ‘Are you playing football tomorrow, Pops?’”

Their youngest, Prince Louis, is only seven months old, and not able to join in on the nickname fun just yet, but surely he’ll follow his siblings’ lead when he can.

Prince Harry isn’t the only one in the royal family who his kids have a nickname for. Middleton revealed in ITV’s 2016 TV documentary, “Our Queen at Ninety,” that George doesn’t use the name Grandma for Queen Elizabeth II.

“George is only two and a half and he calls her ‘Gan-Gan,’” Princess Kate said. “She always leaves a little gift or something in their room when we go and stay, and that just shows her love for her family.”

Hopefully, at a future event, Middleton will reveal if her kids have a nickname for her as well.
