The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge stepped out together last week to attend Royal Variety Performance. Middleton was gorgeous in her risque black lace gown by Alexander McQueen. According to Cosmopolitan, it was a dramatic departure from Middleton’s usually conservative style.

The duchess’ floor-length dress showed off her figure with a cinched waist and a daring low-scoop back. Many praised the royal mom’s dress. In fact, some even considered it one of her best looks.

The netizen pointed out that Prince William’s mistress and wife were dressed alike. Earlier this year, there were rumors about the Duke of Cambridge having an affair with Hanbury. The palace denied the claims and Prince William’s lawyers even took legal actions against those who continued to spread the false reports.

Prior to the cheating allegations, a report about Middleton and Hanbury having a “terrible” falling-out made headlines. Prince William reportedly had to step in to broker peace between the two women but Middleton didn’t want to see Hanbury again and even wanted to phase her out from the inner circle.

Daily Mail’s Richard Kay denied the report. According to the royal correspondent, Middleton and Hanbury are considering to take legal actions and the issues were just made to damage the duchess.

“I am told the rumours of a falling out between these two attractive young women are false,” Kay wrote.

“I can also reveal both sides have considered legal action but, because none of the reports have been able to offer any evidence about what the so-called dispute is about, they have chosen to ignore it.”

Later on the report about Middleton and Hanbury turned different. The two women allegedly had a falling out because Hanbury had an affair with Prince William. Despite the reports, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge never showed any sign of a strained marriage. Many believed that the royal couple remained in love despite the cheating rumors.
