Kate Middleton Shows ’Super Mom Quick Reflexes’ When This Happened To Charlotte
Kate Middleton showed her super mom quick reflexes when something happened to her daughte, Princess Charlotte.
An adorable clip featuring Middleton and Princess Charlotte’s mother and daughter relationship is shared on Instagram. The short video was taken in June 2018 during the Trooping the Colour.
Princess Charlotte is standing in front of Middleton with her cousin Savannah Phillips. Standing behind the Duchess of Cambridge are the Prince of Wales, Duke of Sussex and Duke of Cambridge. Princess Charlotte is in great spirits when suddenly the stool she is standing on falls off. Middleton shows off her super mom quick reflexes by immediately catching her daughter.
Princess Charlotte begins to sob and Middleton carries her. The royal mom of three consoles her daughter as Princess Charlotte wipes her eyes.
“Kate real fast,” one royal follower commented.
“Kate is super mom & she is not crazy into atention [sic] camera ... how great kate is,” another netizen commented.
Middleton and Princess Charlotte share something with Queen Elizabeth II. The mother and daughter’s middle name is Elizabeth. Princess Charlotte’s full name is Charlotte Elizabeth Diana. Meanwhile, Middleton’s name is Catherine Elizabeth Middleton.
Prince William and Middleton’s decision to include “Elizabeth” in Princess Charlotte’s name could also be a tribute to her grandmother Carole Middleton who also has Elizabeth in her name. It could also be a nod to her aunt Pippa whose full name is Philippa Charlotte Middleton. However, it’s more likely a nod to her royal great-grandmother Queen Elizabeth II.
In related news, Princess Charlotte won’t be called “princess” in school. Prince George won’t also be called “prince.” The royal siblings will simply be known as Charlotte Cambridge and George Cambridge.
They are also not allowed to have best friends in school. The two royal children are attending school at Thomas’s Battersea in London and the school discouraged them to have best friends due to a spirit of inclusion.
“There’s a policy that if your child is having a party, unless every child in the class is invited, you don’t give out the invites in class,” British talk show host Jane Moore said. “There are signs everywhere saying be kind, that's the ethos of the school. They don’t encourage you to have best friends.”
