Kate Middleton Style: How To Copy Duchess' Gorgeous Tartan Coat Dress [PHOTOS]
Kate Middleton's style is usually timeless, and one proof of this is that her gorgeous tartan coat from six years ago still looks chic even in today's quickly changing fashion trends.
Last week, Middleton and Prince William opened the Victoria and Albert Museum in Dundee. The museum, which had undergone a $1.3 billion redevelopment, is Scotland's first design museum.
For the occasion, Middleton recycled her green tartan coat dress from one of her go-to designers, Alexander McQueen, the same fashion house which designed her iconic wedding dress. She previously wore the gorgeous piece when she attended Christmas church service with the rest of the royal family back in 2013, according to People. She accessorized the outfit with a green purse, black tights and heels.

The new museum in Dundee is located just a few miles away from the university town of St. Andrews, where Middleton and Prince William met and eventually fell in love. The royal couple graduated from the University of St. Andrews in 2005.
