Kate Middleton ‘Threatened’ By Meghan Markle’s Presence On Royal Scene, Expert Says

Meghan Markle is a threat to Kate Middleton, according to one royal expert.

The Duchess of Cambridge and Duchess of Sussex are often compared even before Markle officially became a royal. According to royal expert Carole Malone, Middleton is threatened by Markle’s presence on the royal scene.

“I think Kate would very definitely be threatened by Meghan’s presence and her appearance on the royal scene,” Malone said on the Channel 5 documentary “Kate V Meghan: Princesses At War.”

“I do think if you had been the top dog, if you had been the young gorgeous girl that everyone had been photographing for the last two or three or four years, you might be a little bit put out when this gorgeous, American, Hollywood star arrives on the scene,” she added.

Malone also pointed out the differences between the two duchesses. According to her, Middleton is the “quintessential English rose.” Prince William’s wife attended private schools. She’s also not a feminist in the way Markle is. In addition, the Duchess of Cambridge was never outspoken.

On the other hand, Prince Harry’s wife is “driven.” Markle came from a totally different kind of family. While Middleton has a solid family background, Markle has a “dysfunctional” one.

Markle’s parents were divorced. She’s also not as wealthy as Middleton, so she had to strive for everything she wanted. Thus, Middleton and Markle are very different characters.

Middleton and Markle were rumored to be having a rift. According to an insider, the two women couldn’t get along well with each other and this triggered Prince William and Prince Harry’s division.

An insider revealed that there was a ghastly row between the two duchesses since Christmas 2017. Prince William and Middleton invited Prince Harry and Markle into their home in Norfolk at Prince Charles’s request. However, Markle was judged “downright rude” upon arrival.

Middleton told Markle something which didn’t sit well with the latter. The pregnant royal reportedly complained to Prince Harry that she was being told off. The Duke of Sussex took her side. On the other hand, Prince William defended Middleton who was seven months pregnant with Prince Louis at the time.

On Christmas Day, the fab four reunited. Middleton and Markle were photographed smiling and chatting. However, body language expert Judi James said that they were just putting on a united front for the cameras.
