  • Kate Middleton flaunted her new hair color during a video call recently
  • The Duchess of Cambridge has gone back to her classic brunette hairstyle
  • She has apparently ditched her highlights for the new look

Kate Middleton is certainly an inspiration to many women when it comes to fashion choices. The Duchess of Cambridge is known for her sophisticated sense of style and her near-perfect hair.

While the royal keeps her hair transformations rather subtle, they are impossible to miss. The mother of three recently got on a video chat with the members of a bereavement counseling group where she flaunted her new look and hair transformation.

After experimenting with several bold hair colors this year, the 39-year-old duchess went back to her classic brunette hairstyle, notes Cosmopolitan. She has apparently ditched her highlights altogether and has gone for the same shade for the entire hair from root to tip.

Even though she had her hair tied neatly in the back when she appeared in the virtual meeting, along with husband Prince William, it wasn't hard to notice a change in her hair color. She reportedly has chosen "chocolate brown" for her hair.

Sitting beside the Duke of Cambridge, Middleton appeared in a grey check blazer with a black collar and she had paired it up with a black shirt underneath. She kept her makeup subtle with barely-there eye makeup and nude lip color, the outlet reported.

Last year, Middleton gave herself subtle makeovers several times. She debuted lighter hair color in the summer of 2020. She was reportedly spotted in caramel highlight, halo highlights, beachy and honey blond hair colors on different occasions.

Meanwhile, during the call, the royal couple talked about the importance of self-care for frontline workers.

"People need to understand how you are normal human beings doing a brilliant job in a very, very difficult time and I hope this service gives people the outlet that they need. I fear, like you said, you're all so busy caring for everyone else that you won't take enough time to care for yourselves and we won't see the impacts for quite some time," Prince William said during the call.

William and Middleton, along with their three children – Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis, are residing in their Norfolk home, Anmer Hall. Due to the coronavirus lockdown in the U.K., the royal couple is taking on virtual engagements and staying in isolation.
