Kate Middleton Vs Meghan Markle: First 100 Days As Royals Compared
Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle’s first 100 days as Royals were recently compared.
Kate Whitfield, a journalist for Express, revealed that Middleton and Prince William’s first outing after their royal wedding included a meeting with former President Barack Obama and his wife, former First Lady Michelle Obama.
Markle’s first official engagement after her royal wedding, on the other hand, was at Prince Charles’ garden party to mark his upcoming 70th birthday.
The Duchess of Cambridge and Duchess of Sussex attended their first Trooping the Colour after their respective weddings to Prince William and Prince Harry. This also served as the first time for the two women to stand in the balcony of the Buckingham Palace with the other members of the royal family.
And as royals, Middleton and Markle both had the chance to experience what it’s like spending time with Queen Elizabeth II. After her 2011 wedding, Middleton and the Queen viewed the items from her and Prince William’s wedding, which were on display for the palace’s annual summer opening.
Markle, on the other hand, boarded the Royal Train with the Queen when they traveled to Chester.
Unlike Markle, Middleton attended her first Royal Ascot five years after she married Prince William. The journalist claimed that the mom of three was always invited by the royal family to the event, but she always declined the invitation.
Markle attended her first Royal Ascot just months after marrying Prince Harry at St. George’s Chapel in Windsor Castle.
Middleton and Markle also had their first royal tour with their partners after their wedding. Middleton and Prince William’s tour took place in Canada and the United States, and it lasted for 11 days.
Prince Harry and Markle’s royal tour took place in Ireland, and it only lasted for two days.
Middleton and Markle have also attended the Wimbledon match after their wedding. This year, they also watched Serena Williams’ tournament together for the first time.
