Kate Middleton's Brother James Middleton Shares Heartbreaking News Amid Some Happy Ones

Kate Middleton’s brother, James Middleton, is not just known for being the sibling of the Duchess of Cambridge but also for being an animal lover. Recently, he updated his thousands of fans on social media of good news before immediately revealing he is left reeling from a painful event.

The 33-year-old, whose Instagram page is more or less dominated by his pets, shared with his 127,000 followers that he and his fiancée, Alizee Thevenet, just welcomed the newest addition to their growing family, Nala, a spaniel puppy. James further revealed that they still got some exciting news to say.

Later, the fans of Kate’s sibling learned that the good news was that their other dog, Luna, just gave birth to six healthy pups. However, it was a bittersweet message as James told his fans that there were supposed to be seven little ones.

“A week ago Luna had three little pups at 5am, but we had to rush to the vets for an emergency c-section where another four pups were delivered. Sadly one didn’t make it but there are six healthy little pups suckling away happy as can be,” James wrote.

He added that the pups will all have a nice home to go to and the proceeds of the sale will go to Pets Therapy UK, for which he is an ambassador. The charity holds pet visits to hospitals, schools, and care homes.

In the past, James had been candid about how animals have become instrumental in his battle against depression.

“I’ve been in that angst of loneliness, where you’re really alone in the universe. Luckily for me, I had my dogs,” Kate’s brother captioned a photo of him and his dog in 2019 as reported by People.

He first opened up about his mental health problem in January last year for an op-ed for The Daily Mail, where he revealed he sought professional help around 2018. In the piece, James detailed how he used to drag himself to work where he would just wait for time to pass by so he could go home.

James found it hard to communicate even with the people closest to him due to depression. Although he acknowledged that he has a sweeter life than most people, he said it didn’t make him immune to the condition.
