Kate Middleton and Prince William have been blessed with three children but it seems that Duchess of Cambridge favors one of them over the two.
According to Express, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s Mother’s Day post suggest that Middleton shares a special bond with her only daughter. In the snap, the future queen is carrying Princess Charlotte on her back.
The publication claimed that the decision to share the photo of Princess Charlotte with Middleton and not Prince George and Prince Louis shows that Princess Charlotte could be her favorite.
Earlier this year, Middleton sparked rumors that Princess Charlotte is her favorite after she appeared on Giovanna Fletcher’s parenting podcast. At that time, the Duchess of Cambridge talked about the importance of allowing children to play outdoors.
“There are also the environments that you spend time in as well: a happy home, a safe environment. As children, we spent a lot of time outside and it’s something I’m really passionate about. I think it’s so great for physical and mental wellbeing and laying those foundations,” she said.
Middleton shared one of her favorite photos of Princess Charlotte playing outdoors during her appearance on the podcast. The publication claimed that this is another indication that Princess Charlotte is her mom’s favorite.
Last year, rumors swirled that Prince Louis is Middleton’s favorite child. While speaking with Express, motherhood expert Victoria Jennings commented on the rumors.
“As a parent, things go by in a flash and so you want to nurture the youngest child for as long as possible; this was certainly the case with me and my youngest daughter. I think when you first become a mum there’s so much to take on board and it can be both joyous and overwhelming at the same time, but by your third child, you’re more confident and have really found your stride. You just want to baby the third child for as long as possible, especially if you’re thinking they will be your last,” she said.
