Kate Middleton’s Fourth Pregnancy Rumors Are All Fake, Royal Fans Claim
Kate Middleton’s rumored fourth pregnancy has been making headlines for the past couple of months. But all of these rumors are most likely fake.
On the online forum site Quora, royal fans weighed in on the ongoing rumors. Jade Welch, a British royalty fan, said that since Middleton has been rumored to be pregnant for years, she would have already had eight children by now if all of the reports were true.
Leslie Coleen Friedrich, a self-confessed most-viewed writer for the Duchess of Cambridge, said that the media has been writing more speculation and rumor stories than fact when it comes to Prince William’s wife’s pregnancy.
“It is not always true just because you see it in print or on the Internet. They don’t know the facts, but speculation suits them just fine because it gives them something to print. And it does not have to be true for them to make money. So, yes, of course, they are publishing rumors,” she said.
Friedrich also advised royal fans who have been wanting to know if Middleton is really pregnant to wait for an announcement from the palace. Until this has been made, all of the reports about the mom of three’s pregnancy are called “rupo”: rubbish until proven otherwise.
Chris Smith, a graduate from the Macquarie University, said that the media continuously run fake stories about Middleton’s pregnancy because they know that it will make them money.
“The media know that people will pay for such stories even when they have no evidence at all. If the Cambridge’s are expecting a fourth child, they will announce it their own good time and no before. The same goes for the Sussexes,” he said.
And just like Middleton, Markle has also been rumored to be pregnant with her second child. A royal fan said that the Duchesses are not rabbits, which means that they won’t get pregnant that easily. And there’s no way for the media to know from the Duchesses’ doctors because they are most likely sworn to secrecy.
