Kate Middleton’s Green LK Bennett Dress Features ‘Angry Face,’ Royal Fan Claims
Kate Middleton’s green LK Bennett dress recently made headlines after royal fans noticed that it featured an “angry face.”
Earlier this week, the 37-year-old Duchess of Cambridge wore a bespoke green Eponine dress during her visit to Lavender Primary School in Enfield, north London, as part of a string of visits to mark Children’s Mental Health Week.
Upon exiting her private vehicle, Markle’s jumper dress appeared to have an unhappy face plastered at the front. Sairajasmin Davies tweeted, “Someone wasn’t happy to be brought out of the wardrobe this morning… World’s angriest dress #DuchessOfCambridge #pocketeyes.”
At first glance, the mom of three’s dress really looked as though it had an angry face on it. However, this is only because of the style of Middleton’s pockets. And since she was sitting in the car for a couple of minutes, there were creases on her dress that created the shape of a mouth.
Another photo of the Duchess of Cambridge showed her carrying a bouquet of flowers in her hands. She placed the beautiful flowers over her chest and the stem reached her tummy area. This made it seem as though the angry face on her dress had a different nose.
Some royal fans likened the face to Kermit the Frog, while others said that it resembled Evil Pea from the cartoons.
Meanwhile, this is not the first time that someone has been creative when it comes to spotting faces on the royals. Last month, The Sun claimed to have seen Princess Charlotte’s face on Meghan Markle’s knee during the latter’s trip to dog charity Mayhew.
The Duchess of Sussex stepped out to her first meeting with Mayhew in her above the knee dress. The publication noted that Markle’s left knee cap seemed to have shown Princess Charlotte’s cherub-like face. Markle wore a light-colored H&M Mama maternity dress for the visit, and she paired it with her Armani coat.
Markle was named as the patron for Mayhew and three other charities last month.
