Kate Middleton’s Mom Carole Has This Relationship Advice For Finding A Partner
Kate Middleton’s mom shared a tip on how to find the right partner.
The Duchess of Cambridge’s mom, Carole Middleton, had an interview to celebrate the 30th anniversary of their family business, Party Pieces. In the interview, she shared how they started their small business and progressed from there.
Carole was a flight stewardess and her husband, Michael Middleton, was an aero manager for an international air station. After leaving Jordan, the family settled in the rural Berkshire. Carole started the business after finding some suppliers of paper plates. Michael built the packing benches and after a year left his job in aviation to work full time on Party Pieces.
“Find someone who can really support you,” Carole told the Telegraph when looking for a partner. “I couldn’t do it without Mike and my team.”
Richard Kay, a journalist for Daily Mail, was surprised with Carole’s recent interview. According to him, it was "intriguingly timed" since the interview was released amid the rumored rift of her daughter, Middleton, and Meghan Markle.
Kay noted how Middleton’s parents kept themselves out of the spotlight for over a decade since Prince William courted their daughter. This was the first time, Carole agreed to do an interview.
“So her decision suddenly to grant not just one, but two, softly-softly magazine interviews have left courtiers baffled and also a little uneasy,” Kay said hinting that Carole’s interview has something to do with Middleton and Markle’s ghastly row.
However, a family friend said that Carole’s interview was a family decision and it was deliberately done so as not to coincide with any royal events. The insider added that Carole didn’t want to distract any royal engagement.
The source went on to say that Carole would have not done it if there were objections. Also, marking the 30th anniversary of her business is just worth celebrating.
Carole and Michael were criticized back in October for selling a Zombie Sleeping Princess costume for Halloween. The blood-drenched pink silky dress features a gruesome print that shows the princess’ ribcage and organs. Many found it offensive especially those who were close to Princess Diana.
In August, Middleton’s parents were also accused of cashing in on Markle after advertising a banner that used the Duchess of Sussex’s name only that it was spelled without an "h." It didn’t sit well with Markle’s fans because the ad was released just a few days before Markle’s 37th birthday.
