Kate Middleton, Meghan Markle’s Catfight Deemed ‘Sexier’ Than Princes William, Harry’s Rift
Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle’s alleged catfight is “sexier” than Prince William and Prince Harry’s reported rift.
The fab four is embroiled in a controversy following their rumored row. There is a division between the two couples with some sources claiming that there’s tension between the two brothers. Others are saying that the problem was between their wives who don’t get along well.
Interestingly, more are talking about Middleton and Markle’s feud compared to Prince Harry and Prince William’s. According to Daniela Elser, that is because “a good cat fight is sexier than what's really going on.”
“Two balding brothers having a spat has none of that red-blooded, Dynasty-esque [explicit],” she added.
According to Jo MacFarlane of Daily Mail, Middleton and Markle’s feud has been going on for a year already. It started last year when the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge invited the Duke and Duchess of Sussex into their home to celebrate the season.
Markle was reportedly judged as “downright rude.” Middleton also talked to her sister-in-law, but their conversation didn’t turn out well because the pregnant royal complained to her husband that she had been told off. Prince Harry took Markle’s side and Prince William defended Middleton, who was five months pregnant with Prince Louis at the time.
MacFarlane believed that Middleton felt put upon when she was ordered to host Prince Harry and Markle. She was already tired and it might have shown during the occasion.
Body language expert Judi James also pointed out Middleton and Markle’s rift on their first royal engagement together in February. According to her, although they were all smiles, the shots were misleading.
However, another source said that there were no issues between the two duchesses. Although Middleton and Markle are different, they make an effort to get along. The issues were reportedly between the brothers.
There are reports claiming that Prince William and Middleton will spend Christmas with her family to avoid another rift with Prince Harry and Markle.
Contrary to reports, royal correspondents Rebecca English and Neil Sears said that the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge will join the royal family for their traditional festive celebration. Thus, Prince William and Middleton are expected to celebrate the holidays with Prince Harry, Markle and the rest of the members of the Firm.
