Kate Upton Shares First Wedding Photo With Husband Justin Verlander
Kate Upton recently shared a beautiful wedding photo with husband Justin Verlander.
On her Instagram account, the Sports Illustrated model is seen with a huge smile on her face while waking hand in hand with Verlander. She is wearing a stunning white gown and is being greeted by their wedding guests. Verlander, on the other hand, is wearing a black tuxedo with while polo shirt and bowtie.
In her caption, Upton called Verlander her best friend and expressed how grateful she is for him. The supermodel also took the time to thank her family and friends for attending their special day.
The professional pitcher uploaded the same photo on his Instagram account and said that he’s looking forward to all of his future adventures with his wife.
Upton and Verlander started dating in 2014. Last year, Verlander proposed to Upton right before the World Series began. The couple tied the knot in Italy last week after the World Series wrapped up and Verlander brought home a huge win.
According to People, Upton and Verlander have been engaged a couple of months before they confirmed the news to the public. At that time, Upton predicted that her wedding day will be filled with “fun, party, tequila and food.” During her interview with the same publication last year, Upton said that they have not yet finalized their wedding plans.
“We haven’t done any details. We are getting married, but it’s really hard. Everyone’s always like, invite whoever you want, do whatever you want, don’t feel bad about it, but you feel bad!” she said.
Upton also said that she has always wanted to go on a Safari trip for her honeymoon. However, Verlander has not been very open to the idea. This is why they still don’t know where they are headed to spend some quality time with each other.
“Every year I tell him I want to go on a safari and every year for a gift he’ll get me like a stuffed animal tiger. Or like flowers from Africa, not the same. Like you want to go to the zoo?” she said.
