Katharine McPhee and David Foster's romance continues to heat up as they packed on PDA on their recent date.

On Thursday, the "American Idol" winner and the "Asia's Got Talent" judge were stepped out and enjoyed a low-key lunch date. After eating, they were seen outside the Italian restaurant E Baldi in Beverly Hills. Foster wrapped his arms around McPhee and she leaned in for a quick kiss, Us Weekly reported.

Foster and McPhee have yet to confirm their relationship status. But many are convinced that the pair is already an item. "When Kat talks about David, her face lights up," a source told the publication. "She's really so happy. They're actually so sweet together."

The insider added that the couple is not hiding their romance anymore. Thus, they might be snapped packing more PDA in the future. However, although they are open about their relationship, the "In My Dreams" star is still making it sure that they are not too public as "she really likes him [Foster]."

"David is really charming. The age difference might seem substantial to some, but they are really cute together and it makes sense," the source continued.

McPhee and Foster first sparked dating rumors in May. The two were spotted showing off PDA at a dinner party in Malibu. The 68-year-old music producer reportedly grabbed McPhee's face and kissed her several times. The "Terrified" singer responded by doing the same to Foster.

In September, Foster's daughter, Erin Foster shared a snap of McPhee at the Grammy Museum Gala honoring the "Winter Games" musician. "Excited about my new step mom," Erin wrote in the caption which many took as a hint that the "Smash" star is joining their family.

Later that night, Erin shared another photo on her Instagram Story featuring her dad and the "My Destiny" songstress on stage. "My parents," she alluded about Foster and McPhee's relationship.

In November, Foster celebrated her 68th birthday with McPhee and his children. They headed to West Hollywood hot spot Craig's and enjoyed an evening party.

But despite their frequent sighting together, McPhee declined to confirm their relationship status. In a recent interview, the "Had It All" singer said that she is "pretty single," Us Weekly noted.

When asked about Foster she just said that they are friends. "We're very close friends, and we've been friends for a long time," McPhee said about her rumored boyfriend in Health magazine's December cover story. "I'm really, really fond of him, and I think he's an incredible person."
