Katherine Jenkins: Singer to Compete on ‘Dancing With the Stars’ 2012 (PHOTOS)

The Dancing With the Stars Season 14 competitors have been announced, and one is revealed to be Welsh singer Katherine Jenkins.

Jenkins, 31, is a classical singer who's also done pop music. She released her latest album, Daydream, in October 2011.

Her acting experience includes a guest appearance on a 2010 episode of Dr. Who.

She published her autobiography, Time to Say Hello, in 2008.

She has a few international shows scheduled for later this year. The performances will take her to Ireland, Northern Ireland and Japan.
