Katherine Schwarzenegger Accused Of Mocking Chris Pratt’s Church Behind His Back

Chris Pratt’s engagement to Katherine Schwarzenegger isn’t drama-free. Shortly after the film star took to Instagram to announce he was wedding his girlfriend of several months, a rumor emerged suggesting she may at one point used his star status for personal gain and mocked his church.

In July, Blind Gossip posted an item titled “Dating A Man Child,” describing a less-than-ideal relationship between a divorced TV actor turned “bonafide movie star” and his “new girlfriend.”

“She makes fun of his church, which she thinks is a joke. She pretends to be really supportive of it to his face, but she mocks it behind his back,” reads the original report. “She likes the idea of dating a movie star. She says he is nice but a little dumb. She said it’s like having a conversation with a 10-year-old boy in a 40-year-old-man’s body.”

Pratt, who previously starred on the series “Parks and Recreation” before taking to the big screen for “Guardians of the Galaxy” and “Jurassic World,” started dating Katherine in June after splitting from wife Anna Faris. Pratt, 39, is a known member of the Hillsong Church. At the time of publishing the blind item, the site did not identify who it involved, until now.

Following Pratt’s engagement announcement this week, the site revealed the blind item was in reference to the newly engaged pair. “Guess she has gotten over her skepticism about his church and his boyish behavior. We’re sure it has nothing to do with him being a rich, famous, action hero movie star with a buff body,” the site stated.

For those not familiar with Katherine, she is the 29-year-old daughter of actor and former California governor Arnold Schwarzenegger and author Maria Shriver. Katherine, who is also a writer, has since taken to Instagram to react to the engagement news, writing, “My sweet love. Wouldn’t want to live this life with anyone but you.”

Pratt and Katherine have not publicly responded to Blind Gossip’s report.
