Chris Pratt's Ex-Wife Anna Faris Reacts To Actor's Engagement To Katherine Schwarzenegger
Chris Pratt just announced his engagement to Katherine Schwarzenegger, and the "Avengers" star's ex-wife, Anna Faris, has reacted to their happy news.
Responding to Pratt's engagement announcement on Instagram, Faris gushed that she was happy for the actor and Schwarzenegger, who have been together for only seven months. "I'm so happy for you both!! Congratulations!" the 42-year-old actress, who shares one son with Pratt, commented on his Instagram post.
Faris and Pratt announced their separation in August 2017, ending their eight years of marriage. The two celebrities got married in Bali, Indonesia in July 2009. They finalized their divorce in October last year. Despite this, they have maintained an amicable relationship with each other as they co-parent their only child, Jack, who is now 6 years old.
Like Pratt, Faris has also moved on from their relationship with a new partner. She has found love in cinematographer Michael Barrett, whom she has been dating since October 2017.
Meanwhile, Pratt's sweet engagement announcement on Instagram has received a barrage of support from his followers and the couple's friends and family. In his post, he said that he was absolutely "thrilled" to be marrying "sweet Katherine" and was looking forward to spending his life with her. He accompanied the sweet message with an equally sweet photo of them embracing, with Schwarzenegger showing off her engagement ring.
Aside from Faris, Schwarzenegger's mother, Maria Shriver, also posted a comment congratulating the happy couple. The 63-year-old called Pratt and her daughter "loving, kind, caring, thoughtful spiritual people."
Schwarzenegger's brother, Patrick Schwarzenegger, also showed some love for soon-to-be brother-in-law, Pratt.
Other celebrities who left comments of love and support for the couple were Olivia Munn, Rob Lowe, Josh Gad, Gwyneth Paltrow, Michael Strahan, Ben Schwartz and E! News host Jason Kennedy, according to Daily Mail.
