Katie Holmes Allegedly Leaving New York For Liam Hemsworth Amid Justin Theroux Dating Rumors
Katie Holmes has been plagued with numerous rumors lately, ranging from her split from Jamie Foxx to her alleged budding romance with Justin Theroux. The “Batman Begins” star is, also, reportedly, facing financial problems after she listed her Calabasas home for $4.625 million. Now, new reports are claiming that Katie is moving to Australia for good.
New Idea reported that Katie is planning to relocate to the Down Under as she was inspired by how Chris Hemsworth and Elsa Pataky are raising their children away from the limelight. A source even told the entertainment news publication that Elsa is very much willing to introduce the “First Daughter” actress to the Byron Bay neighborhood.
The same tipster claimed that Elsa is planning to bring Katie Holmes into contact with Liam Hemsworth, who decided to move to the coastal town months after filing for divorce from Miley Cyrus. In September, NW claimed Elsa wants to set up Jamie Foxx’s ex-girlfriend and “The Hunger Games” actor.
The transfer rumors intensified when Katie was spotted in Sydney’s inner west at the Haberfield McDonald’s outlet earlier this month. There, the mom of one helped raise money for the Ronald McDonald House charity.
“I am very honored to be an ambassador for McHappy Day. I would say to Australians to come down here and buy a lot. To help out in any way that I can for families going through hard times. It means a lot to me,” Katie Holmes said at a press conference. “[These] families are going through so much... hearing their stories and wanting to do more. It’s inspiring to raise money,” she went on.
Though it is possible for Katie to consider living in the beautiful country of Australia, it is very unlikely to happen right now since she is enjoying her life in New York City. In fact, she lives with her daughter, Suri, who attends middle school near the actress’ Big Apple pad.
Katie Holmes, previously, revealed to People that NYC gave her and Suri a fresh start. "I love the community in New York. I love New Yorkers. I ran into someone on the street the other day that I went to high school with," the “Mad Money” actress stated. "I love the moments of spontaneity every day,” she added.
Just because she is selling her Los Angeles mansion, it does not mean that she is transferring elsewhere. Moreover, with New Idea’s history of making stories based on the statements of some unreliable sources, this could be another unsubstantiated claim waiting to be debunked.
