Katie Holmes ‘Furious’ With Jamie Foxx, Actress Embarrassed By Ex-Boyfriend After Break Up
Following news of Katie Holmes and Jamie Foxx’s split, it seems the actress may be harboring some animosity towards her ex-boyfriend. A new report claims the “Dawson’s Creek” alum is “furious” about the 51-year-old’s rumored romance with Sela Vave.
Holmes and Foxx reportedly began dating in 2013. The former couple hid the romance for several years but appeared to confirm their relationship in May at the Met Gala.
However, after Foxx was spotted holding hands with Vave on Aug. 17, sources confirmed the couple had split.
Although they are no longer together, an alleged insider told Radar Online that the 40-year-old was unhappy about Foxx’s outing with Vave.
“They had an agreement to play fair and not embarrass the other by stepping out with anyone else in public – but Jamie’s done exactly that, and she’s livid,” the mystery tipster claimed.
“They had an open arrangement, provided he never rubbed her face in it, which of course he’s done over and over again.”
In 2018, sources told People that Holmes and Foxx “don’t see themselves as a couple in the traditional sense,” but enjoy spending time together. “When they can be together, they are. There are no obligations, no requirements,” the insider explained.
“They aren’t focused on what’s next or what the future holds. They are content simply knowing that they enjoy each other’s company and have a good time together.”
Although their romance has run its course, Foxx reportedly reached out to Holmes after the photos of him with Vave surfaced. The supposed confidant went on to tell Radar Online that the conversation created tension between the exes.
“She’s furious, but he’s just rolling his eyes and telling her to stop breaking his balls and chill out,” an insider said.
Holmes’ quiet relationship with Foxx marked her first romance following her divorce from ex-husband Tom Cruise, who is the father of her daughter, Suri. Meanwhile, Foxx has two daughters from previous relationships.
