Woman’s Day reported that Katie and Jamie were talking about a possible adoption when they were vacationing in New Orleans in December 2019. The former lovebirds, who were rumored to be engaged already at the time, allegedly, wanted to have a daughter since the “Disturbing Behavior” actress felt like her “pregnancy days” are over.

“There have been a lot of official-looking visits to Katie’s trailer when Jamie’s around, and everyone’s thinking it could be lawyers assisting them with adoption papers,” a source told the outlet. “As soon as she suggested it, Jamie was all for it. He loves how kind and selfless Katie is, but this idea just blew him away. They’ve spent many nights in New Orleans discussing their hopes and dreams for their child,” it went on.

Us Weekly shared that the “Jack and Jill” actress donned a pair of blue jeans and a dark top while the “Robin Hood” actor opted a matching black sweater and pants during the sighting.

Though the ex-couple was clearly enjoying each other’s company, no concrete pieces of evidence can prove that they really did plan on adopting a child at the time. Moreover, it is very unlikely for Katie and Jamie to adopt a child due to their hectic schedules. In fact, they did not even live in the same location when they were still an item.
