Katie Holmes, Jamie Foxx’s Future Stepdaughter Suri Cruise Step Out In NYC

Katie Holmes opted to spend time with daughter Suri Cruise the day after she and boyfriend Jamie Foxx made their public debut as a couple at the Met Gala.

On Tuesday, the “Dawson’s Creek” alum was spotted strolling the streets of New York City with her 13-year-old mini-me. The mother-daughter duo appeared to be chit-chatting when they were photographed by the paparazzi.

In the photos obtained and shared by Daily Mail, the 40-year-old Hollywood actress is seen walking closely to Suri, who is holding a smartphone. Holmes wore a blue hoodie and sweatpants for the outing wile her daughter rocked an all-pink ensemble comprising a jacket and sweatpants.

Katie tied her hair in a semi-messy ponytail and she accessorized with large aviators. Due to the chilly weather, the actress put her hands inside the kangaroo pocket of her hoodie. In other snaps, Holmes is seen carrying a white plastic bag while crossing the street.

The night before, Tom Cruise’s ex-wife was in high spirits when she and Foxx showed up at the Met Gala and made their debut as a couple on the red carpet. The two have reportedly been together for more than five years now. But they managed to keep it on the down low for the most part.

Last year, an insider disclosed to People that the two stars were making an effort to keep their romantic relationship private. “Katie and Jamie are still careful about being photographed together. Everyone knows they are dating, but they still want to keep it private.”

In mid-April, the couple was spotted packing on the PDA in the Big Apple. They were holding hands while walking after a dinner date with Foxx’s 25-year-old daughter Corinne. They were also seen spending some quality time in Central Park.

Days later, the two opted to spend some time apart. The “Brahms: The Boy II” actress jetted off to Paris with daughter Suri for Easter Sunday and as part of the latter’s birthday celebration. On the other hand, the Academy Award-winning actor reunited with his baby mama, Kristin Grannis, and their daughter, Anelise, at Disney California Adventure Park in Anaheim.
