Katie Holmes Kisses Rumored Boyfriend Emilio Vitolo: ‘She Seems Smitten,’ Source Says

Katie Holmes and Emilio Vitolo reunited over the weekend and were spotted kissing after sparking dating rumors during their outing last week.

Holmes was spotted with a mystery man at the Mediterranean restaurant Antique Garage in SoHo last week. The man was later identified as chef Vitolo. They looked happy during their first public sighting and they reunited again on Aug. 6.

People shared photos of Holmes and Vitolo’s most recent sighting over the weekend. In the snaps, Holmes is spotted in a gray shirt and blue jeans. Vitolo dressed for comfort in navy shirt and jeans. Both were wearing masks, but they pulled them down to share a sweet kiss. Holmes wrapped her arms around Vitolo during the kiss while the latter was holding a cup of coffee in one hand.

“She seems smitten,” a source told People.

“He's fun and charismatic,” the source said about Holmes’ new man who appeared on “Royal Pains” and “Inside Amy Schumer.”

Vitolo is a chef in Emilio’s Ballato, an Italaian restaurant in SoHo. His father, Emilio Vitolo Sr., purchased it in the ‘90s and the family has worked there since.

In an interview with InStyle, the younger Vitolo shared a glimpse of their family while managing their restaurant.

“It’s a seven-day-a-week commitment,” Vitolo said.

“If you’re going to do a restaurant the right way, you always have to be there. But on Sundays my father was never the cook. My mother, who’s from Peru, would make us dishes like chicken and rice instead.”

Their family restaurant is a popular celebrity hangout. Whoopi Goldberg has been visiting the place because they serve her favorite dish, spaghetti with garlic and olive oil.

“Coming here is like coming into someone’s house. It always feels good because it’s homey,” Whoopi said about the restaurant.

Vitolo and Holmes were first seen together a year after her split from Jamie Foxx. Holmes and Foxx were notoriously private about their romance. They never confirmed their relationship, but several sources did. Last year, their separation made headlines.

"This industry is very tough on relationships," a source told People last year. "Jamie thinks Katie is an incredible human being. They had a very, very deep connection. They brought each other a lot of joy and laughter.”
