Katie Holmes Enjoys Dinner With Chef Emilio Vitolo A Year After Jamie Foxx Split

Katie Holmes enjoyed a night out with her new man in New York a year after her split from Jamie Foxx.

Holmes, 41, and chef Emilio Vitolo, 33, were spotted having dinner together at the Mediterranean restaurant Antique Garage in SoHo on Tuesday, Sept. 1. Holmes and Vitolo ordered a couple of glasses of wine as they sat down and enjoyed each other's company, TMZ reported.

In photos obtained by the outlet of their outing, Holmes burst into laughter and got a little touchy-feely with the chef. For their dinner, both Holmes and Vitolo went for casual looks, with the actress donning a tank top and jeans while the chef wore a white T-shirt and jeans.

Vitolo works at Emilio's Ballato in SoHo, which was bought by his father, Emilio Vitolo Sr., in the early '90s. Their old-school Italian restaurant, where their entire family has worked since the purchase, has become a celeb hangout, with Joe Jonas, Justin Bieber, Rihanna, Bradley Cooper and more having dined there.

Whoopi Goldberg is also among those who often visit the place. The "Sister Act" star even learned from Vitolo how to make her favorite spaghetti with garlic and olive oil dish.

"Coming here is like coming into someone’s house," Goldberg told InStyle. "It always feels good because it’s homey."

But though Goldberg can now make the dish at home, this doesn't mean she won't be visiting Emilio's Ballato anymore. "Why would I want to when I can come here?" she said about cooking at home.

Meanwhile, Holmes dated Foxx for years following her divorce from Tom Cruise. And though the two kept their relationship private and away from the public eye for years, they made headlines last year after their split was confirmed.

"This industry is very tough on relationships," a source told People last year. "Jamie thinks Katie is an incredible human being. They had a very, very deep connection. They brought each other a lot of joy and laughter.”

Before Holmes moved on with Vitolo, Foxx was spotted with a mystery young woman on his 52nd birthday last year. However, in the past months, he has been seen with his ex and baby mama, Kristin Grannis.

In July, they were seen grabbing a bite in Malibu without their 11-year-old daughter, Annalise Bishop.
