Katie Holmes Supports Jamie Foxx After His Rumored ‘Date’

Months after photos of Katie Holmes and Jamie Foxx holding hands surfaced, the rumored couple recently stepped out separately at an eyewear event, continuing to fuel dating rumors.

On Monday, Holmes was spotted attending the store opening of Privé Revaux in New York, an affordable eyewear brand that Foxx and several other celebrities are involved with, according to People.

Although she and Foxx arrived at different times, it is typically rare to see the rumored couple at the same event which makes others question just how serious their relationship is.

Foxx and Holmes have been romantically linked to one another since 2013 but it wasn’t until May of this year that the two were photographed flaunting PDA, while enjoying some alone time together on the beach.

Holmes’ support of Foxx at the Privé Revaux opening comes after reports that the”Baby Driver” actor went on a date with another woman. Last month, a tabloid reported that the actor was hanging out with an attractive brunette while attending Leonardo DiCaprio’s birthday party.

A “source” reportedly told Star magazine that Holmes was hurt over Foxx’s interest in a new woman. “Katie is totally crushed. She thought going public meant they weren’t going to date other people,” the “insider” said.

However, Gossip Cop shut down allegations that the rumored couple is having problems with their relationship because they have yet to publicly confirm their romance.

Sources close to Holmes also denied that she was emotional over Foxx’s outing with the brunette because she and the actor are not in an exclusive relationship.

Sources previously told People that the stars are not interested in jumping in a committed relationship just yet. “They remain friends and while Katie is in Los Angeles, she is happy to spend time with him, as well as many other friends,” the insider revealed.

“Neither seems to be in a rush to take it further,” the source added.

Although fans shouldn’t expect an engagement announcement from Holmes and Foxx anytime soon, it seems as if the couple is happy together and have no problem supporting one another, even if it’s from a distance.
