Katy Perry To Become Mrs. Orlando Bloom Soon? 'Lord Of The Rings' Actor Eager To Propose, Reports Say

Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom have been spotted together in public a lot lately, but letting people know about their relationship seems to be just the tip of the iceberg.

A source close to the “Lord of the Rings” actor reportedly told People that marriage is in sight for the two. Bloom will ask for the “Rise” singer's hand in marriage before the year ends.

“He would love to settle down with Katy and have more kids,” the source said. “He hasn't been this serious about a girl since Miranda (Kerr).”

While the two are hopeful about where their relationship would go, a friend of Perry's reportedly said that the “Firework” singer does not see herself getting married soon. Perry's divorce from British comedian Russell Brand took a toll on her, so she does not want to jump on a heavy, long-term commitment soon.

The “Dark Horse” singer admitted that she was hurt by the end of her marriage, but she has continued to be optimistic about life and love.

“I'm excited by whatever it brings,” Perry told the Daily Telegraph. “I'm excited by my own evolution, I don't want to end up bittersweet. I have to evolve, I have to continue to push people's perceptions of me. As an artist I like to do that, keep people on the edge of their seats.”

After her divorce, Perry went on to date John Mayer on and off for a couple of years. The singer was also romantically linked to Diplo and rapper Riff Raff. There were also rumors that she dated “Twilight” actor Robert Pattinson.

Meanwhile, speculations about Perry and Bloom's relationship started swirling when the two were photographed being flirty with each other at the 2016 Golden Globes afterparty. The two were seen together several times after that, but a confirmation on the status of their relationship was not made until Perry posted a photo of them in Cannes together to Instagram.
