On-again-off-again couple Katy Perry and John Mayer are reportedly still back on and getting serious these days.

The 28-year-old "Teenage Dream" singer took Mayer home for the holidays to see her mother and father. "They're happy together and with her family for the holidays," said a source for People magazine. "John really likes getting to know Katy's family better."

"They've spent a lot of time together and really enjoy each other's company," the source added.

Perry, whose tumultuous courtship with Mayer, 35, has frequently landed her in the headlines this year, hasn't been shy about being seen with the "Your Body is a Wonderland" singer. Over the weekend, the couple was spotted visiting patients at a local hospital on behalf of the Dream Foundation. On Wednesday, Perry even went so far as to tweet a photo of Mayer, reclining on a couch, wearing a santa costume and fake beard, with the caption, "santa baby."

The pair were first spotted together in June, but allegedly broke it off a few months later. Mayer has earned a reputation as a Hollywood lothario after several high-profile relationships with numerous celebrities including Jennifer Aniston, Jessica Simpson, Jennifer Love Hewitt, Taylor Swift and Minka Kelly.

The public display of affection comes just a year after Perry officially filed for divorce from her now ex-husband, Russell Brand. The comedian and pop star were married for 14 months, but eventually split due to what Brand described as "incompatibility."

Despite the ups and downs in her romantic life, Perry has had an incredibly successful year. She was recently named Billboard's "Woman Of The Year" for 2012, after making history as the first female artist to have a single in Billboard's top 10 for 69 consecutive weeks.
