Keira Knightley's Grand Arrival at Venice Film Festival
Keira Knightley knows how to make an entrance and she has made a terrific impact upon the audience at the Venice Film Festival.
At the premiere of her new film, A Dangerous Method, Keira swept the crowd away as she arrived in a floor-length Valentino couture gown. The actress stunned her fans in the film.
In the movie, Knightley once again dons a period costume, playing a Russian diagnosed with hysteria who has a pivotal role in the birth of psychoanalysis. Her performance as Sabina Spielrein has gained considerable praise. The film, directed by David Cronenberg from a script by Christopher Hampton, charts the development of psychoanalysis with Viggo Mortensen as Sigmund Freud and Michael Fassbender as Carl Jung.
Speaking at the festival Knightley revealed that she wanted to continue starring in period films.
