Kelly Clarkson Gets Hogwarts Sorting Hat Cake For 35th Birthday [PHOTO]
Kelly Clarkson surely had a blast on her 35th birthday on Monday. She not only got the chance to spend it with her loved ones, but she also got a magical cake to commemorate her birthday.
On Tuesday, Clarkson took to Instagram to share a snap of the special birthday cake Anna Cakes made for her. The photo shows a tall cake that’s clearly inspired by Hogwarts’ Sorting Hat in the “Harry Potter” films. The enchanted headgear is placed atop the different “Harry Potter” books. The cake is also adorned with the famous Hogwarts crest and the scarf of Clarkson’s favorite house, Gryffindor.
Before getting the chance to thank Anna Cakes owner Anna Hightower by posting the snap, the latter actually showed off her creation on social media before delivering it to the singer’s place. Hightower even stated in her post that it is such an honor for her to bake the cake for a “legend.”

Clarkson’s “Harry Potter”-inspired cake is part of the magical celebration the singer had with her family and friends. In another post, she revealed that she and her loved ones received a surprise from Universal Orlando since they were provided with “Harry Potter” gear.
On Twitter, Clarkson uploaded a photo of her daughter River Rose wearing the same Gryffindor shirt she was sporting. The mother-of-two joked that the 2-year-old may not have been sure how to feel about the house she picked for her. This is evident in the side-by-side comparison of River’s expressions while donning the Gryffindor shirt.
Aside from the celebration at the Universal Orlando theme park, Clarkson also got a big surprise last Friday. While she was playing a scavenger hunt game, the “Piece By Piece” songstress found out that her family had prepared a girls trip for her, her sister and her mother. Check out Clarkson’s reaction to the surprise announcement below.
