  • Kelly Clarkson wants to sell her Montana ranch after a judge validated her and Brandon Blackstock's prenup, a report says
  • Selling the ranch may not be easy because her estranged husband is still living there
  • Clarkson could go back to court and set the ground rules for selling or have a judge order Blackstock to move out

Kelly Clarkson wants to go "full steam ahead" in selling the Montana ranch which she owns and where her estranged husband Brandon Blackstock is currently residing, a report says.

Last week, a judge ruled that the prenup that she and Blackstock signed was valid. The prenup backed Clarkson — who is said to be worth around $35 million — that everything she earned and acquired during their marriage is solely hers. Since she was the one who purchased the Montana ranch, then the property is hers alone.

Clarkson's estranged husband initially contested the prenup and wanted to split between them her properties and the income she earned while they were married. But after a judge upheld their prenup, the "American Idol" winner can move forward with the sale of her property in Montana, and that's among her priorities, TMZ reported.

However, the outlet also noted that it might not be easy to unload the property because Blackstock is living there.

According to TMZ, Clarkson's lawyers could file court documents to determine conditions in which the ranch could be sold, including how often it can be shown and how much advance notice Blackstock should receive. Another option is for the court to order Blackstock to move out of the property.

Clarkson has always wanted to get rid of the ranch and even considered it a "financial burden" because the maintenance costs run upwards of $81,000 a month, according to the court documents. However, her initial request to sell it was denied because Blackstock is living in the property.

Blackstock requested an order to include that he will be paying for the ranch's expenses and that Clarkson could file for another motion to sell the property if he is unable to pay for the maintenance costs.

Last month, Clarkson had also been temporarily ordered to pay Blackstock nearly $200,000 a month in spousal and child support. The documents also revealed details into the singer's finances, showing that she personally earns over $2.4 million a month.

But following the latest ruling in their case, Clarkson will keep the bulk of her assets and income, including the ranch.

Clarkson was on the set of "The Voice" when her lawyer called her to inform her that the judge upheld her prenup amid her bitter divorce battle against her estranged husband. The "Because Of You" singer let out a scream after hearing the good news, unnamed sources told TMZ.

She reportedly began celebrating with her fellow "Voice" judges, including Ariana Grande and Blake Shelton. She also shared a photo of herself with two of her friends at TopGolf, a driving range and bar in Las Vegas, on Instagram.

"Friends, Vegas, Top Golf and George Strait... I dare you to have a better time than me right now," she wrote in the caption.

Later that day, she shared another snap with her friends from Strait's concert. "Seeing the true King of country music tonight," she wrote in the caption, tagging Shelton.
