Kendall Jenner Is The Most-Followed, Most Buzzed-About Model On Instagram In 2017

Kendall Jenner has a lot of accomplishments this year.

Last week, the "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" star overthrew Gisele Bundchen as this year's highest-paid model. Today, Jenner is declared as the most popular model on Instagram.

According to People, the reality TV star and model tops the most-followed models on Instagram with over 83 million followers. She gained over 12 million new followers just this year. Next to her are Cara Delevingne (40.7M), Gigi Hadid (35.9M), Emily Ratajkowski (15.1M) and Bella Hadid (15M).

Kylie Jenner's sister also scored the most-liked model photo of the year. In June, Jenner shared a photo of her in gingham bikini and cropped white tee. She kept her black locks in a messy bun and put on a cat-eye makeup. The model did not write anything in the caption but added pizza emojis. The said post has already gained over 4.5 million likes.

Jenner is also the most buzzed-about model. The "KUWTK" star earned the highest-global number of mentions and tags in captions and comments. Despite Jenner's recognition, her sister Kim Kardashian is the most-followed celebrity in the Kardashian-Jenner clan. The KKW Beauty founder has over 104 million followers and is the fifth most-followed celebrity. Jenner is in the 10th spot.

Meanwhile, Jenner's BFF Gigi and Bella also made multiple appearances on the list. Gigi is the third most-followed and the second most buzzed-about. Meanwhile, Bella tops the most-viewed Instagram Stories, is the fifth most-followed and the third most buzzed-about.

Over the weekend, Jenner and Bella reunited in the Bahamas to celebrate their pal, Hailey Baldwin's 21st birthday. The girls had a blast in the ocean. Jenner shared a snap of their get together on Instagram. Aside from the trio, Justine Skye, Renell Medrano, Camila Morrone and Isabella Peschard were with them.

Meanwhile, Bella shared a clip of wild hogs swimming in the waters on her Instagram stories. The Victoria's Secret model just graced the runway for the brand's 2017 fashion show in Shanghai, China. According to Bella, the whole experience made her feel better emotionally, physically and mentally.

Gigi and Jenner were not able to join Bella in the said event. Gigi took to Twitter days before the fashion show announcing that she could not make it. "I'm so bummed I won't be able to make it to China this year," she wrote. On the other hand, Jenner's contract with La Perla, an Italian brand of lingerie was believed to be the reason why she did not join the event.
