Months after being involved in a horrifying car crash, famous comedian and actor Kevin Hart is opening up about how he does not take anything for “granted” now and wants to live his life to the fullest.

Speaking in the season three premiere of his YouTube series “Kevin Hart: What The Fit,” the 40-year-old actor revealed that he does not take his life for granted and is quite thankful for all the “small stuff” after the car crash, which has helped put all things into perspective for him.

The comedian-turned-actor, whose first guest on the show was talk-show host Jimmy Kimmel, explained that the accident made him realize that we are not the ones controlling our lives and everything we have can be taken away in just one snap so people should never take their life for granted.

“Basically, what you realize is you are not in control. At the end of the day, it can all be over, man. So do not take today for granted. I was put in a situation where I was like, ‘Oh, my god. Am I going to be able to walk, am I going to recover? With determination and pure will, I got to a place where I can be physically active again,” Hart said.

The “Jumanji: The Next Level” star concluded by saying he is extremely thankful to do all the “small stuff” like walking and running.

As previously reported, Hart and his friend Jared S. Black were seriously injured when their car crashed through a wooden fence in California last year. Both of them were taken to the hospital and it was found that they “sustained severe back injuries.” Hart’s wife, Eniko Parrish, was also in the car at that time but fortunately did not need any kind of medical assistance.

In related news, Jason Statham, who was all set to star with Hart in the movie "The Man From Toronto," has dropped out of the action-comedy.The actual reason for his exit is still unknown, but it has been reported that the creative differences between the “Transporter” star and Sony Pictures is the one of the reasons for his departure from the project.

Meanwhile, Hart will next be seen in Paul Weitz’s “Fatherhood” alongside Anthony Carrigan and Paul Reiser. The movie is slated to hit theaters on Jan. 15, 2021.
